We specialize in livestock breeding
with top-tier genetic parameters.
OHZ Głogówek is the largest center in Poland for the breeding of red-and-white Holstein-Friesian cattle and a producer of high-quality breeding stock for pig farming.
Our mission is to achieve genetic progress in livestock that translates into increased production efficiency – by supplying the market with animals of exceptional production and functional traits.
The company is one of the strategic units designated by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and operates under the supervision of the National Agricultural Support Centre (KOWR).
The core focus of our operations is the breeding of red-and-white Holstein-Friesian dairy cattle. Our herd includes over 700 dairy cows, each producing more than 11,000 kg of milk annually. In total, our dairy cattle population exceeds 1,500 head.
Our pig breeding program has been in place since 1954. With a long-standing tradition of raising high-value pigs, we are part of the national breeding program managed by the Polish Association of Pig Breeders and Producers “Polsus.”
We manage around 2,489 hectares of land, of which approximately 90% are arable fields and 10% are grasslands. Efficient and large-scale crop production enables us to achieve high yields of excellent quality.
Would you like to be part of OHZ Głogówek and contribute to the development of animal breeding in Poland? We’re looking for dedicated individuals eager to work in a modern and responsible breeding company. Check our current job openings and see who we’re hiring.
