Pig farming

The pig breeding program at the Center has been operating since 1954, with its high quality based on long-standing traditions and participation in the breeding program of the Polish Association of Pig Breeders and Producers “Polsus.”

We use a national crossbreeding scheme: sows – hybrids of Polish White and Polish White Earless breeds, and the boar – Duroc breed. This allows for the production of pigs with excellent meat quality, meeting the requirements of meat processing plants. The Center maintains all three breeds necessary to carry out this program, as well as its own breeding stock.
